FIRA-AER organised a National Coaches Conference in Kiev (Ukraine), 12-15 November 2008.
The Conference theme was "The future development of Women's rugby in Europe". RDM's Michel Arpaillange and Douglas Langley facilitated the Conference.

European Golden Oldies Rugby (EGOR), supported by Fédération Internationale Rugby Amateur – Association Européene de Rugby (FIRA/AER), are the organisers of this gathering of the National Veteran Teams, to be called RUGBY LEGENDS CUP (RLC). The mission of the RLC, that will be organised every third year starting from year 2009, is to develop and sustain further sporting friendship among international players that resulted from the times of their playing careers, as well as to offer them and belonging Rugby Unions / Federations competitive rugby oportunity adjusted to the actual age (veteran) of the competitors. RLC will be organised each time in a different country.
